Event Photo Sharing

Event Photo Sharing with a QR Code

No app for guests, no sign-up, no account. Scan the code, upload a photo from your phone browser, and it appears live on the event screen in seconds.

EventWall turns any QR code into a live photo feed for your event. Guests use the browser already on their phone, organizers get a moderated wall on any screen, and every photo is saved to a shareable gallery afterward.

How it works

From QR code to live wall in four steps. Most organizers have their event set up and the code printed within a few minutes of signing up.

1. Create your event and get a QR code

Sign up, name your event, and EventWall generates a unique QR code and upload link tied to it.

2. Display the code at your event

Print it on signage or table cards, or project it on a screen near the entrance or registration desk.

3. Guests scan and upload

Any phone camera opens the upload page in the browser. Guests add a photo, a message, or both in seconds.

4. Photos appear on the live wall

Uploads show up on your screen in real time, either automatically or after you approve them.

No app, no sign-up for guests

Scanning the QR code opens a normal web page in the guest's own phone browser, whether that is Safari, Chrome, or something else. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Guests who would never bother downloading an event app will still scan a code and upload a photo in a few taps.

No app download

The upload page runs in the browser guests already have open.

No account or login

Guests upload directly, without an email address, password, or registration.

Live on screen

Photos appear on your event display within seconds of upload.

Everything you need to run a live photo wall

A single QR code covers photo capture, live display, moderation, and export, so there is nothing else to buy or configure.

Live display on any screen

Connect a laptop to a TV or projector and the wall updates in real time as guests upload. There is no special hardware to buy.

Real-time photo gallery

Every upload is also saved to an online gallery guests and organizers can browse during and after the event.

Moderation and approval

Turn on approval mode to review every photo and message before it goes live, or let posts appear automatically.

ZIP download of all photos

Plus and Pro plans let you export every guest photo as a single ZIP file after the event.

Works in any phone browser

No app to install. The QR code opens a normal web page in Safari, Chrome, or whatever browser the guest already has.

Set up in minutes

Create the event, get the QR code, and you are ready to display it. Nothing needs designing or configuring.

No venue WiFi password needed

Because the upload page is a normal website rather than an app, guests do not need the venue WiFi password or any special network access before they can take part. A guest on cellular data can scan the code and start uploading right away, and there is no large app download competing for bandwidth at the start of the event.

Built for conferences, celebrations, and everything between

The same QR code photo sharing setup works for multi-day events and single-night parties alike.

Conferences and corporate events

Multi-day conferences, offsites, and association events are where EventWall is used most today. Attendees share booth visits, keynote moments, and networking photos throughout the event, giving organizers a live feed for the main screen and a ready-made record for internal comms afterward. Because the wall runs across the full event, it also works well as a lightweight registration-desk activation on day one that keeps producing content through the closing session. See our dedicated page for a corporate-focused photo wall.

Weddings

Guests capture candid moments the professional photographer misses: reactions during the vows, the dance floor at midnight. Everything lands in one shared album alongside the official photos. The couple gets a crowd-sourced record of the day without asking anyone to email photos afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does QR code photo sharing work?

You create an event and get a unique QR code. Guests scan it with their phone camera, which opens an upload page directly in the browser. They upload a photo from their camera roll or take a new one, and it appears on your live event wall within seconds, without installing anything or creating an account.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. The QR code opens a normal web page in the guest's browser (Safari, Chrome, or any mobile browser). There is nothing to install and no account to create, so the install step that stops many guests from ever opening a dedicated event app never comes up.

Is event photo sharing with a QR code free?

Yes. The free plan lets you create an event, generate a QR code, and collect up to 50 photos and messages, live for 3 days after your event starts. Paid plans raise the post limit and how long the wall stays online.

How many photos can guests upload?

The free plan supports up to 50 posts total (photos and messages combined). The Plus plan raises that to 500 posts over 30 days, and the Pro plan supports 1,000 posts over 60 days.

Can I moderate or approve photos before they go live?

Yes. You can turn on moderation so every upload is queued for your approval before it appears on the wall, or let posts appear automatically.

Does it work on bad venue WiFi?

Guests do not need the venue WiFi password or any special network access to participate, since the upload page is a normal website, not an app that needs to be downloaded first. A guest on cellular data can scan the code and upload immediately, and there is no large app install competing for bandwidth at the start of the event.

Can I download all the photos after the event?

On the Plus and Pro plans, you can export every photo guests uploaded as a single ZIP file. On the free plan, photos remain viewable and downloadable individually in the event gallery for 3 days but are not included in a bulk ZIP export.
