- How do guests share photos and messages?
- Guests simply scan the QR code displayed at your event using their smartphone camera. This opens a mobile-friendly upload page where they can take or select photos and write messages. No app download is required - it works directly in any mobile browser.
- Do guests need to download an app?
- No! EventWall is completely web-based. Guests access the upload page through their mobile browser by scanning a QR code. This means instant access with zero friction - no app store visits, no account creation required.
- Why not just use a WhatsApp group or a shared Google Photos album?
- You can, but they work best for people who already know each other. A group chat needs everyone's phone number and compresses photos, and a shared album usually asks guests to sign in. With EventWall guests scan one QR code and post straight from their browser, with no account. Every upload also appears live on the big screen, you decide what gets shown, and all photos are collected in one digital photo album afterwards.
- Do we need EventWall if we already have a photographer?
- The two work well together. A photographer captures the key moments in high quality, but can't be everywhere at once. EventWall collects what guests see from their own tables and angles, such as candid shots, selfies and messages, and puts them on screen while the event is still going. It turns your audience into participants, which a gallery delivered weeks later can't do.
- How does content moderation work?
- You can enable optional content moderation for your event. When enabled, all photos and messages go to a moderation queue first. You can review and approve content from your admin dashboard before it appears on the live wall, ensuring only appropriate content is displayed.
- What types of events is EventWall best for?
- EventWall works great for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, graduation ceremonies, conferences, trade shows, and any gathering where you want to engage guests and capture memories in real-time.
- Can I customize the look of my event wall?
- Yes. EventWall offers themes for different event types, including elegant wedding, professional corporate, and fun party looks. On the Pro plan you can also add your own logo and brand colors, or import them automatically by pasting your website address, and they appear on the live wall, the guest upload page, and the photo gallery.
- Does EventWall create a digital photo album?
- Yes! Every photo guests upload is automatically saved to a private digital photo album. After the event, you can share the gallery link with guests so they can browse and download all memories. Free events keep the album for 3 days, Plus for 30 days, and Pro for 60 days.
- Is my event private?
- Yes. Each event has its own secret link, built into its QR code, and only people who have the link or QR code can see the photos, messages and details. Events are not listed anywhere and can't be found by searching. Anyone you share the link with can view the wall, so share it only with your guests. Photos and messages are deleted automatically when the event expires: after 3 days on Free, 30 on Plus and 60 on Pro.
- How long is my event data stored?
- Event data including photos and messages is stored for the duration of your plan: 3 days (Free), 30 days (Plus), or 60 days (Pro). Plus and Pro plans let you download your photos and videos as a ZIP file before expiration — written messages aren't included in the export, but they remain visible on your wall and gallery for as long as your plan is active. The digital photo album remains accessible to guests throughout this period.
- Is there a limit to how many photos guests can upload?
- Upload limits depend on your subscription tier. Free events support up to 50 posts and last 3 days. Plus ($39) supports up to 500 posts and lasts 30 days. Pro ($79) supports up to 1000 posts and lasts 60 days.
- Can I display the wall on multiple screens?
- Yes! You can open the display wall URL on as many screens as you need. The content syncs in real-time across all displays, perfect for large venues with multiple viewing areas.
- How do I set up my event?
- Setting up is simple: 1) Create a free account, 2) Click 'Create Event' and enter your event details, 3) Choose a theme, 4) Share the QR code with guests, 5) Display the wall on a screen. The whole process takes under 2 minutes!
