How do you collect photos from attendees at a conference?

The simplest way is a QR code that opens an upload page in the attendee's phone browser. Put the code on the screens between sessions, in the printed programme, on badges or table cards, and on the last slide of each talk. Attendees scan it, pick a photo or take one, and it is uploaded straight to the event. There is no app to install and no account to create, which is what keeps participation high at a conference where most people will not download anything for a single day.

How do you show attendee photos on screen during a conference?

Open the live wall in a web browser on the venue screen: a projector in the main hall, a lobby display or a TV at the registration desk. New photos and messages appear within seconds of being posted. The same wall link can run on several screens at once, and every screen stays in sync.

You can show posts as a grid, as a slideshow that cycles through them, or with the newest post on screen. You can also show only photos, only messages, or a full-screen QR code so people know how to join. For a professional event, turn on moderation: every post then waits for your approval before it reaches the screen.

What is the difference between a QR photo wall and a hashtag social wall at a conference?

A hashtag social wall collects public posts from Instagram, X or LinkedIn that use the event hashtag. It works when attendees want to post publicly and the event wants that reach. A QR photo wall skips social media: attendees upload straight to the event wall from their browser, and the posts are only visible to people who have the event link.

For members-only meetings, internal conferences and association events, the QR approach usually gets more posts, because people do not have to post on their own profile or have a social media account at all. It also lets attendees post text messages without a photo, which a hashtag wall cannot collect unless someone posts them publicly.

What is a conference photo wall?

A conference photo wall is a live screen at your conference that shows the photos and messages attendees post from their phones. Attendees scan a QR code, which opens an upload page in their browser, and their post appears on the projector or lobby display within seconds. No app or account is needed.

Do attendees need to download an app or create an account?

No. The QR code opens a normal web page in the phone browser. Attendees can post a photo, a text message or both without installing anything or signing in.

Can we approve posts before they appear on screen?

Yes. Moderation is included on every plan, including Free. When it is on, every photo and message waits in a queue until you approve it from your dashboard. You can also let posts appear automatically and remove anything afterwards.

Can we add our association or conference logo?

Yes, on the Pro plan ($79 per event). Upload your logo and choose brand colors, or import both by pasting your website address. The branding appears on the live wall, the attendee upload page and the photo gallery. Paid plans also remove the small EventWall badge from the guest pages.

How many attendees and posts can a conference wall handle?

There is no limit on the number of attendees. The limit is on posts, counting photos and messages together: 50 on Free, 500 on Plus and 1,000 on Pro. Most one-day conferences and annual meetings fit within Plus or Pro. For a multi-day event with heavy posting, you can create a separate wall for each day or each room.

Can we run walls in several rooms at the same time?

Yes. Create one event per room or track, and each gets its own QR code and wall. If you want every screen to show the same posts, open the same wall link on all of them instead. They stay in sync.

How much does it cost?

Free costs $0 and includes 50 posts for 3 days. Plus is $39 per event with 500 posts, 30 days, video uploads and ZIP download. Pro is $79 per event with 1,000 posts, 60 days, all 8 themes and your logo and brand colors. It is a one-time price per event, not a subscription.

Can we get an invoice with our VAT ID?

Yes. At checkout you can enter your organization's name and VAT or tax ID, and you receive an invoice for the payment.

Can we download the photos after the conference?

On Plus and Pro you can download all photos and videos as a ZIP file. Written messages are not included in the ZIP, but they stay visible on the wall and in the gallery until the plan ends. Free does not include the ZIP download.

Is the wall private?

Each event has its own secret link, built into its QR code. Only people with the link or QR code can see the photos and messages, and events are not listed or searchable. Photos and messages are deleted automatically when the plan ends: after 3 days on Free, 30 on Plus and 60 on Pro.

What do we need at the venue?

A screen and a device with a web browser and an internet connection, such as a laptop connected to the projector or a smart TV. Attendees post over their own mobile data or the venue Wi-Fi.
